He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Welberg and Gladys Grindager; his brother Henry Welberg (Arla); his stepmother Helen Welberg; his parents-in-law, Pearl and Ammon Stowell; his brothers-in-law, Chuck Stowell (Caroline), Jack Campbell, Al Freier and Roland Desorcy; his nephews, Mark Pickett, Ronnie Freier and Charlie Stowell; his niece Leslie Campbell; and his sisters, Doris Oneschuk and Odetta Freier.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Stowell; his daughters, Carole Quinones (Tony) of Oak Creek, CO and Denise Canfield (Glenn) of Black Earth, WI; his granddaughters, Mandy Quinones of Oak Creek, CO. and Monique Quinones of San Antonio, TX; his great grandchild Elise Dessaux of Paris, France.; his siblings-in-law, Donna Gawreluk (Peter) and Dave Oneschuk; his daughter Margo Magnussen (Darrell) of Bemidji, MN; and his godson James Gawreluk.
