Though Jack may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jack touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Howdahl Sr. and Gertrude Howdahl (Witt); and his siblings, John Howdahl Jr., Gladys Carlson (LeRoy), Carl Howdahl, Betty Ellerson (Darrell), Harold Howdahl (Lillian) and Earl Howdahl.
He is survived by: his brother George Howdahl (late Sandy) of Arizona; and his sisters-in-law, Eileen Howdahl, Shirley Howdahl and Norma Maus. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Helgeson Funeral Home (112 1st St SE, Baudette, MN 56623). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
