He was predeceased by: his parents, William O'Connell and Eva O'Connell; his siblings, Mary, Jo and Mike; and his sister-in-law Elmerna.
He is survived by: his wife Nyla O'Connell (Buegler); his children, Alex, Aaron O'Connell (Taylor), Amy and Amber Roberts (Tim); his grandchildren, Christopher, Elijah and Nevaeh Roberts; and his sister-in-law Pat. He is also survived by sister-in-laws, a brother-in-law, many generations of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Baudette (104 1st St SW, Baudette, MN 56623). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
