He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Erick Olson and Evelyn Leila Olson (Brown); and his siblings, Leonard Elmer Turnmire, Lyle Edwin Olson, Dorothy Evelyn Nendel and Patricia Louise Turnmire.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Ann Olson of Baudette, MN; his daughter Sherry Renee Moore of Baudette, MN; and his siblings, Carrol Merlyn Olson of Indianapolis, IN, Thais Lynette Park and Valda Elaine Nebus of Baudette, MN.. He is also survived by grandchildren and 2-great-great grandchildren.
