He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jewell and Mary Elizabeth Shaffer (Hensley); his wife Lainy; his siblings, Morris, Ken and Billie Ruth; his grandson Justin Woldahl; and his son-in-law Gene Woldahl.
He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Woldahl, Anita Hoeper (Kevin) and Charlie Shaffer (Shannon); and his siblings, Gilbert Shaffer, John Shaffer, Nelda Poole and Lavern Cain. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grue Lutheran Church (36608 Grue Church Ln, Ashby, MN 56309). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
