It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Hanson (Battle Lake, Minnesota), born in Perham, Minnesota, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hanson and Eva Hanson (Haagenstad); his siblings, Lewis Hanson and Judy; his brother-in-law Lester Kimber; his niece Bobbi Tamke; and his nephew Jesse Hanson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carole Bistrum (Joseph) of Bellbrook, Ohio and David Hanson (Mary) of Ottertail; his sister-in-law Tudy Hanson of Battle Lake; and his nieces and nephews, Becky Henry, Nicholas, J. P., Kellie Secrest (Scott), Matthew, Haley, Bently, Keith Kimber (Connie), Gunnar, Dondi Kimber (Sheree), Timothy Hanson, Page (Blake), Bowen, Shawn Hanson (Sarah), Emily, Tracy Hines (Chad), Hunter, Evelyn, Fletcher, Megan Tamke, Tad Tamke and Henry. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
