She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Ode and Sally Ode (Pearson); her husband Cal; her sister Elaine; her brother-in-law Alton Smedstad; her brother Burton; her siblings-in-law, Dorcas Ode and Bert Kirschenmann; her sister Patricia; her brother-in-law Jim Pomeroy; her niece Janice Ode; and her nephews, Thomas Ode and Barry Smedstad.

She is survived by: her daughter Amy; her son-in-law Mike Stearns; her grandchildren, Benjamin and Katherine; her brother Jim Ode; and her sister-in-law Ruth. She is also survived by son cousins and numerous loved nieces, nephews and godchildren.
