It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margarete Hustad of Battle Lake, Minnesota, born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on January 6, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Grewe and Tillie Grewe (Anderson); her husband Arvid Hustad; and her siblings, Richard, Kenwood, James, Audrey and Doris.
She is survived by: her children, Arlyn Hustad (Gail) of Battle Lake, Deb Rongstad (Neil) of Bemidji, MN, Mike Hustad (Lisa) of Barnesville, MN and Gail Ralston (Gerrad) of Battle Lake; and her grandchildren, Stacey (Brandon), Karlie (Jake), James (Erin), Andy (Sarah), Julie (Paul), Nicole (Parker), Chandra, Amanda, Grant and Rachel. She is also survived by her thirteen great-grandchildren.
