“Although I never met Luke in person, I feel as though I know him through his writings. He had the ability to create vivid pictures of whatever it was that he was writing about. One of my most precious possessions is a signed edition of his last poetry which he sent to me along with a personal note. It has been said that we live through the memories that others have of us after our passing. On that basis, Luke will continue to live for a very long time.”
