He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Torgerson and Agnes Torgerson (Braaten); his wife Sandi; his mother-in-law Dory Johnson; his brothers, Eugene "Nookie" Torgusson and Don Torgerson; and his siblings-in-law, Charlotte Torgusson, Betty Torgerson, Linda Stanley, Duane Donley and Scott Wilson.

He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Lien; his son-in-law Randy Lien; his grandsons, Joshua Nagel (Jena), Dustin Nagel (Val) and Dylan Lien (Elly); his great grandchildren, Jaden, Kelcie, Tucker, Lily, Kinsley and Colt; his siblings, Marion Donley and Jim Torgerson; his siblings-in-law, Cindy Allen (Cliff), Carmion Wilson and Rick Zahnow (Joanne); and his father-in-law Larry Johnson.
