He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Peterson and Emma Peterson (Setterlund); his former wife Evelyn "Scottie" McDougal; his son George; his daughter-in-law Sharon Peterson; and his siblings, Roy, Ray, Art Peterson, Edna Stiener, Esther Zill and Helen Kavle.
He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Stanley Peterson (Yong) of Leesveille and Kay Dalluge of Perham; his stepdaughter Sharlet Huston (Jeff); his grandchildren, Dawn Carter (Gregory), Christine Merritt (Jim), Chad Peterson, Amanda Peterson (Steve Sackett), Shawn Peterson (Mandy Hejuk), Kellie Vossen (Jeff), Arika Jares (David), Skeeter Burmeister (Katie) and Tate Burmeister (Missy); and his great grandchildren, Oscar, Sabastian, Cassie, Kallie, Taylor, Roman, Skyler, Brody, Colton, Riley, Mason, Theodore, Drake, Kaiden, Kenna, Kaleigh, Khloe and Draxton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
