He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Maertens and Sophie Maertens (Kaczerowski). He is survived by: his wife Jenny; his children, Mark Maertens, Curtis Maertens (Jill), Westminster and Theresa Winkler (Corey); his grandchildren, Isabel Carroll, Amy and Jonathan Maertens; and his siblings, Gerald Maertens (Shirley), Barbara Altermat (Mark), Joseph Maertens (Irene), Fridley and Paul Maertens (Michelle). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
