With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ione Deal (Battle Lake, Minnesota), born in Breckenridge, Minnesota, who passed away on April 29, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Oie and Esther Oie; her daughter-in-law Joan Deal (Lauf); her grandchildren, David Ekren and Megan Marie Deal (Schwartz); and her siblings-in-law, Arlene Deal (Jirak), Eldora McDougal (Deal), Clarence Illes, Bob McDougal and Bob Stommes.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence of Battle Lake; her children, Greg Deal (Patti Petersen) of Ft. Pierre, SD, Lisa Ekren (Stan) of Naperville, IL, Tim Deal (Kathy) of Doran, MN, Micki Schwartz (Pat) of Cottage Grove, MN, Andrew Deal of Fergus Falls, Cathy Riley (AJ) of Greenwood, IN and Joe Deal (Charissa Statz) of Hopkins, MN; and her siblings, Odean Kuhloie (Shirley) of Highlands Ranch, CO and Janet Oie of Fargo, ND. She is also survived by her 22 grandchildren; her 22 great-grandchildren.
