He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Bessie; and his siblings, Archie, George, Richard, Angie and Marian.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Mitchell (Terri Hanson) and Tracy Monnens (Jeff); his grandchildren, Kassie Green (Jody) and Kerry Vohnoutka; and his siblings, Bob (Dee), Joe, Eleanor Jacobs and Rosemary Borchardt (Ron).
