She was predeceased by: her parents, Selvin Garberg and Bertha Garberg (Shylstad) of Underwood; her husband Robert B. Hanson; her parents-in-law, George and Olga Hanson; and her siblings, Harris and Beatrice.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca, Becky Garcia (Fernando) and Steven Hanson (Kristi); her grandchildren, Alex Garcia, Nichole Fick Fergus Falls (Doug) and Shelby Hanson Vergas (Colton Laymon); her stepgrandchildren, Kari Johnson (Justin), Kelli Parker (Denton) and Kate Sprattler; her sisters, Arvis Olson (David) and Vicki Teske (Daryle); her sister-in-law Phyllis Garberg; and her sibling Valley. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
The family asks that any memorials be made to First Lutheran Church of Battle Lake or a charity of your choice.
