He was predeceased by: his wife Pat; his parents, Thorfin Sandahl and Bessie Sandahl; his siblings, Oliver Sandahl (Ann), Irene Listrom (Iver), Lillian Groom (John) and Marion Godel (Wilton); his brothers-in-law, Carl Biederman and Wes Olson; his mother-in-law Dena Tenney; his stepfather-in-law Arvid Tenney; and his sister-in-law Judy Doolittle.
He is survived by: his children, Danette Brannen (David), Daneen Hampel and Daniel Sandahl; his grandchildren, Chelsea Brannen, Stephanie Kroger (John), Taylor Johnson (Adam), Hunter Brannen (Koral) and McKenna Brannen (Shane); his great grandchildren, Liam Banaian, Peter, Josephine Kroger, LIllian Brannen and Ellen; his sister Elaine Biederman; his siblings-in-law, Linda, Dennis Dirkman, Carol Hanson (Duane) and Mike Doolittle; and his close friends, Ron and Shari Gunderson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
