It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Duane Kneisl of Battle Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on June 1, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, August Kneisl and Gertrude Kneisl (Schlagel); his grandson Aaron Kneisl; and his half-brother Donald Bush. He is survived by: his wife Shirley May Smith of Battle Lake; his children, Mike Kneisl (Arnette) of Bertha, Brad Kneisl (Brenda) of Henning, Kathy Kuhnke (Steve) of Bertha and Steve Kneisl (Janet) of Bertha; and his brothers, Arnold Kneisl (Darlene) of Wadena and Jerome Kneisl (Lois) of Staples. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
