He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Tegtmeier and Nelva Tegtmeier (Nelson); his brothers, James, Fred and Robert Tegtmeier; and his siblings-in-law, Douglas Busby and Mary Busby.
He is survived by: his pet German Shepherds; his wife Sandy; his daughter Tammy Halverson (Jon Neumann); his grandchild Tracy Ovsak; his son Travis Halverson (Brittany Nesvold); his grandsons, Kellan Halverson, Greg Hammer (Connie), Rick Hammer (Deanna), Ron Hammer (Roxanne), Steve Hammer (Lori) and Tania Hammer-Lukken (Virg); his siblings, Norman Tegtmeier (JoAnn) and Carol Shimek; his siblings-in-law, David Busby, Daniel Busby (Terri), Phyllis Tegtmeier and Connie Schroeder (Steven); and his friend Darrell "Jay" Trumbauer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends.
