We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2023, at the age of 84, Alton Johnson of Battle Lake, Minnesota, born in Edgeley, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claire Johnson and Katherine Johnson (Fox); his wife Earllet Johnson; his son Mick DeFries; and his sisters, Loretta Fuller and Nina Moore.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike Johnson (Lisa) of Battle Lake, MN, Brian Johnson (Missy) of Breckenridge, MN and Rick DeFries (Carolyn) of Breckenridge, MN; his siblings, Ray Johnson of Fargo, ND, Angie Brown of Oakes, ND and Mary Ladd (Kent) of Ottertail, MN; and his pet Jasper. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 12 great–grandchildren.
