With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susanna Karen Westendorf of Barnum, Minnesota, born in Cloquet, Minnesota, who passed away on July 23, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Foster and Lena Foster; her son Steven Saarela; and her siblings, Barb Foster, Kathleen Foster, Dwayne Foster, William Foster, Rodney Foster, George Foster and Pauline Young.
She is survived by: her former husband Gordon Westendorf; her husband Gordy; her children, Rodney Saarela (Theresa), Vivian Saarela, Tony Westendorf (Tammy), Lena Doble (Dewey), Laurie McKibbon (Keith) and Gordon Westendorf Jr. (Cindy); her grandchildren, Alyssa, Gibson Doble, Donald Saarela (Nataly), William, Louis, Kyle Saarela, Dylan, Jayden Westendorf, Nikita Roe, Paige, Heather Saarela, Steven Saarela Jr., Susanna Saarela, Micayla Berg, Biranna, Kiara, Garrett and Joshua Westendorf; and her sister Patsy Schmidt (Larry). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
