He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Peterson and Arlene Peterson; his grandparents, Oscar, Sarah Peterson, Charles and Sophie Peterson; his brother Richard "Dick" Peterson; his sister-in-law Beth Peterson; his parents-in-law, Herbert and Jennie Olson; his brother-in-law Vernon Keinanen; his nephew Gene Peterson; and his niece Tina Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Olson; his daughter Kelly Jo Spaulding (Bill); his grandchildren, Mason and Ava Spaulding; and his siblings, Robert Peterson (Judith), Marlene Keinanen and Melvin Peterson (Chris). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
