He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Ishaug and Nora Ishaug (Stephenson); his granddaughters, Allyson Ishaug and Morgan Stangeland; his siblings, Shirley Irey (Bob), Harley Ishaug (Dorothy), Virgil Ishaug, Doug Ishaug (Jerry) and Percy Ishaug; and his in-laws, Raymond Kieselbach, Agnes Cook (Cliff), Marie Baumgartner (Merle), Bernard Kieselbach and Benedict Kieselbach.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Kieselbach (Betty); his children, Bobby Ishaug (Alex) of Barnesville, Bill Ishaug (Ann) of Barnesville, Tom Ishaug (Candace) of Fargo, ND, Kathy Smith (Bob) of Redmond, OR, LeAnn Ishaug of Fergus Falls and Colleen Kuhn (Rick) of Mandan, ND; his grandchildren, Tori Ishaug (Jason Sanchez), Blake Ishaug, Sarah Hellem (Nick), Grant Ishaug (Dylan Putnam), Ethan Ishaug (Taylor), Cody Stangeland (Chante' Gillis), Samantha McLeod (Robert) and Elizabeth Stangeland (David Miller); his great grandchildren, Jovie Ishaug, Arlan McLeod, Curtis McLeod, Freyja McLeod, Asher Allery and Theo Allery; his brother Ordean Ishaug (Maureen) of LaGrange, IL; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Ishaug of Fridley, MN, Marion Maxwell of Kansas, Kay Kieselbach of Dilworth, MN and Dorothy Kieselbach of Park Rapids, MN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Assumption Catholic Church (307 Front St N, Barnesville, MN 56514). A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
