He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Roy, Letitia Bigwood and Robert Strand; and his father-in-law Larry Sczygiel. He is survived by: his parents, Curtis Strand and Connie Strand of Stewart, MN; his wife Lauri Sczygiel-Strand; his children, Daxton and Sophie; his grandmother Opal Strand of Mayville, ND; his mother-in-law Betty Sczygiel of Audubon, MN; his sisters-in-law, Cindy Strand (Nick) of Portland, ND, Cheri Sczygiel of Rolla, ND and Tracy Zierke (Tyler) of Moorhead, MN; and his nieces and nephews, Lauryn Zierke, Mckynlie Zierke, Brynlee Zierke, Ethan Strand, Ty Sczygiel, Owen Sczygiel and Max Sczygiel. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, cousins, other family and many friends.
