He is survived by: his former wife Etta Gilbertson; his children, Larry Bekkerus (Marcie) of Englevale, ND, Judy Schobinger (Lee) of Sheldon, ND, Ronald Bekkerus (Joanne) of Glyndon, MN, Della Callahan (Tom) of Glyndon, MN, Becky Leitch (Jay) of Barnesville, MN, John Bekkerus of Glyndon, MN, Christine Glatt (Steve) of West Fargo, ND, Teresa McGough (Keith) of Glyndon, MN and Michael Bekkerus (Melissa) of Hawley, MN; and his brother Alan Bekkerus of Grand Forks, ND. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
