He was predeceased by: his father Edward "Duke" Kava; his brother Chuck Kava; his mother-in-law Janie Capp; and his brother-in-law Brad Capp. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Kava; his wife Connie Kava; his siblings, Carla Hunt (Larry), Ruth Affield (Todd), Karen Norman (Jesse), Ed Kava (Mary), Paula Kava and Rob Kava (Stephanie); his father-in-law John Capp (Jane Kolstoe); and his siblings-in-law, Brian Capp, Sharon Lee (Rick) and Anthony Capp (Julie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Memorials are preferred to the Assumption Catholic Church Bell Tower Clock Fund.
