He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Butenhoff (Stock) and Ferdinand Butenhoff; and his siblings, Arnold Butenhoff, Matilda, Irene, Cecelia, Avis and Laverne.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Johnk; his children, Jerald Butenhoff (Diane), Bonnie Hubka (Rod), Douglas Butenhoff (Mary) and Cynthia Sundby (Eric); and his grandchildren, Wayne Syverson, Renee Gilsrud (Ryan), Brett Syverson (Tabitha), Derek Syverson (Jamie), Andrea Nelson (Alex), Melissa Hubka (Nate), Ashley Everson (Matthew), John Butenhoff (Rebecca) and Brian Butenhoff. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church (302 3rd St NE, Barnesville, MN 56514). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
