He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence "Bud" Holmstrom and Eunice Holmstrom (Taylor). He is survived by: his wife Shelley Lien; his daughters, Rebecca Hanson (Cory), Elizabeth Johnson (Paul Jr) and Martha Meranda (Chuck); his grandchildren, Thomas, Bailey Johnson, Timothy, Tyler Swang of William, CJ, Spencer Meranda, Kiley and Blake Meranda; his sisters, Heidi Martenson (Virgil) and Mary Sukut; and his sisters-in-law, Debbie Lien and Kathie Voth (Roger). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
He took part in many local rides and charity benefits.
