He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Haick and Mary Haick (Ulrich); his wife Linda; his great grandchild Penelope Skye Gilbert; and his siblings, Bernadine Powelson, Bernard Haick, Catherine Hahn, Tony Haick, Francis Marlett, Gilbert Haick, Clara Hahn, Anna Savala and Marie Sauvageau.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Haick (Ruth LeNoue) of Rothsay, MN, Daniel Haick of Moorhead, MN, Kathy Fischer (Dan) of Wabasso, MN, Chris Sturm of Fargo, ND, Mary Cihak (Darwin) of Glyndon, MN and Barb Haick of Moorhead; his grandchildren, Nathan Erickson (Desi), Amanda Haick (Tanner Nelson), Jenny Kalvoda (Justin), Becky Helmer (Josh), Debbie Szafranski (Mike), Melissa Sturm (John Taylor), Mariah Sturm (Andrew Christensen), Meghan Sturm (Brandon Arion), McKenzie Sturm (Sydney Gilbert), Madison Sturm (Wesley Scott), Melinda Schonert (Logan) and Jason Cihak (Joleen); and his close friend Anita Bjornstad of Rothsay, MN. He is also survived by 26 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
