She was predeceased by: her parents, John Derichs and Mary Derichs (Stang); her granddaughter Danielle Rae Valnes; and her siblings, Gilbert, Ralph, Jerome, Harold, Roman, Bob, Julia, Marion, Lorraine, Rosie and Agnes.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Kemper (Char), Patty Gilbertson (Ed), Mark Kemper (Tonya) and Mary Jo Valnes (Steve Granger); her grandchildren, Christopher Kemper, Cory Gilbertson (Sarah), Becky Torkelson (Mark), Justin Gilbertson, Josh Kemper (Marney), Katie Kemper, Nick Kemper (Marissa), Gage Graber (Bresha), Taylor Valnes (Emily) and Tanner Valnes (Carissa); and her sister-in-law Rhea "Cookie" Derichs. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
