She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Lawrence Stende and Clara Jeanette Stende (Sorenson); her husband Philip Allen Cook of Baker, MN; her children, Bruce, Brian and Barbara; her brother Curt; and her siblings-in-law, Florie Stende and Marvin Olsen.
She is survived by: her sister Fern Olsen; her daughters, Susan Brown, Rebecca Lamm (Greg), Pamela Krebs (Kenny) and Jennifer Hoefs (David); and her grandchildren, Sally Carlson-Larson (Daniel), Kraig Carlson, Joel Brown (Kelly), Nick Brown, Amy Lamm, Adam Lamm, Aaron Lamm (Cindee), Brianna Conroy (Trent), Kelsey Cook, Kari Ahrens (Ben), Taryn Rutter (Andrew), Brittany Appel (Steven), Ben Hoefs and Sam Hoefs. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, she requested donations to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary 4628, The American Legion Auxiliary Unit #153, The Barnesville Food Pantry, or the Our Savior's Lutheran Quilting Circle.
