He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ruben Nicklay and Hilda Nicklay (Gaethke); his former wife Janet Gabrielson; his wife Mary Jo; his stepchildren, Brock Peterson (Heidi) and Stacy Roshek (Jason); and his nephew Rick Nicklay. He was also cherished by six step-grandchildren.
