He is survived by: his grandchildren, Samantha Theis (Ashley Lazo), Levi Theis, Justin Higgens (Amanda), Harley Higgens (Julia), Alexandra Theis, Kasey Theis, Kaden Theis and Olivia Theis; his great grandchildren, Valerie Higgens, Jace Higgens and Evelyn Higgens; his sister Elizabeth Theis of St. Joseph, MN; his sister-in-law Penny Bienek (Duane); and his nephew Steve Theis-Sorenson.
