She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Staehnke (Bud) and Edythe Staehnke; her husband Leonard Shereck; her son Leslie Shereck; and her brother Lyle.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Downey (Mike Kitagawa) of Bemidji and Lee Shereck of Bagley; her daughter-in-law Prudence Shereck of Thief River; her grandchildren, Sara Kretzschmar (Jordan), Katie Shereck, Megan Downey (Brett Hartje), Trevor Shereck, Andrew Shereck and Samantha Lee (Jesse); her great grandchildren, Leo, Ruby Kretzschmar, Jenny and Jettson Lee; and her brothers, Rodney and Dennis Staehnke.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A prayer was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley (407 Getchell Ave NE, Bagley, MN 56621). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (16 Red Lake Ave NW, Bagley, MN 56621).
