She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Halvorson; her parents, Ben Vorderbruggen and Jennie Vorderbruggen; her parents-in-law, Clarence and Lil Halvorson; her siblings, George (Alice), Francis (Nellie), John (Charlotte), Benjamin, David Vorderbruggen (Ruth), Marion Peterson (Vern), Bernice Hanson, Elizabeth Schmidt (Cliff) and Nancy Farrell (Jim); and her brother-in-law Dale Halvorson (Francis).

She is survived by: her sons, Paul Halvorson (Ashley) and Darin Halvorson of Bagley, MN; her grandchildren, Desiree Erickson (Brandon) of Shevlin, MN, Destiny, Dalen, Branlee of Bagley, MN, Bria and Paityn Halvorson of Bagley, MN; her great grandchildren, Denzlee, Danika and Michael Erickson; her brothers-in-law, David Halvorson (Diane) and Donnie Halvorson (Marylin) of Farmington, NM; and her daughter-in-law Lynette Waggoner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Sharon endured the challenges of her stroke and the losses COVID brought to the healthcare system with grace and dignity.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred in Sharon's Memory to the Bagley Fireworks Fund through the Bagley Fire Department.
