He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Sunderland and Leatrice Sunderland (Sorenson); his brother David; and his parents-in-law, Alfred and Maxine Schultz.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Schultz; his children, Gretchen Swanson (Randy) of Montrose, MN, Jeffrey of Bagley, MN and Tabitha Eggert (Shawn) of Blackduck, MN; his grandchildren, Hayden, Sydny, Karly Swanson of Montrose, MN, Wyatt, Kes and Hudson Eggert of Blackduck, MN; his siblings, Debbie Fenske (Gerald) of Bemidji, MN, Dean Sunderland (Sheree) of Bagley, MN and Susan Brown (Brad) of Bagley, MN; his uncles, Laverne Sunderland, Harvey Sorenson and Elton Sorenson; his aunt Ardyce Harstad; and his siblings-in-law, David Schultz (Connie) and Vivian Mitchell (Kurt). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
