He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hansen and Inga Hansen (Melhus) of Clearbrook, Minnesota.; his wife Sarah Hansen; his stepgrandson Miles Rosnow; his brother Glen Hansen; his sister-in-law Julia Hansen; his sister Arlyce Anderson; his brothers-in-law, William Anderson (Bud) and Richard Newquist; and his nephew Randy Newquist.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Karen Huppert (Randy) of River Falls, WI, Betty Meter of Bagley, MN, Peggy Rosnow (David) of Gully, MN and Wayne Horn (Lisa) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his stepgrandchildren, Grace Litner (Stephen), Anna Walton, Charles Walton, Sierra Gilbertson (Dusty), Stephanie Street (Clover), Jack Huppert (Liz), Caleb Horn (Alex) and Carter Horn (Grace); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Penelope Gilbertson, Easton Gilbertson, Kalea Street, Josie Huppert, Austin Street, Everett Huppert, Myla Gilbertson, Naomi Mendoza and Andi Horn; and his siblings, David Hansen and Geraldine Newquist (Geri). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley (407 Getchell Ave NE, Bagley, MN 56621). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 3:45 PM to 4:15 PM at the Seljord Lutheran Cemetery.
