He is survived by: his wife Marie Sukraw of Palisade; his children, Melinda Carlson (Shane) of Roseau, MN, Leanne Avery (David) of Grand Marais, MN, Rich Blomberg (Julie) of Bemidji, MN, Honorary and Todd DeShane (Teddy) of Shevlin, MN; his grandchildren, Savannah Carlson, Elias Carlson (Kiawna), Karlie Cook (Vallen), Micah Avery, Josiah Avery, Abraham Avery, Taylor Blomberg, Ashdyn Blomberg, Honorary and Allen DeShane; and his great grandchildren, Declan Carlson and Awnika Carlson.
The family prefers memorials to Landstad Church.
