He is survived by: his children, Samson, Luke and Julie Carter of Sparks Nevada; his grandchildren, Daniel, Victoria and GraceAnne; his children, Shawnee and Robert "Tom" Bishop of Fairbanks; his grandchildren, Stephen, Katrina and Sabrina; his children, Judy, Jack Jessee of Fairbanks, Alaska, Rachel and John Antoine of Fargo; his grandson Gabriel Hugo; his former wives, Audrey Foldoe of Fairbanks, Alaska, Virginia Foldoe of Fargo, Alice Rust of Muskegon, Mich. and Audrey Einevoll; and his spouse Jinny Henkel. He is also survived by six children, nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
