He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Peterson and Bernice Peterson (Olson); his wife Zola (Osborn); his daughter Angela Lynn; his siblings, Marvis, Wesley, Lowell, Rodney, Dean, Paul, Merton, Louise, Hollis and Maxine; and his in-laws, William and Faye Osborn.
He is survived by: his children, Derek Peterson (Chrissie) of Virginia, MN, Denise Peterson (Tony Alemhoca) of Yardley, PA, Christian Peterson of Pleasanton, TX and Jennifer West (Jason) of Bagley, MN; his grandchildren, Robert Haveman (Courtney) of Yardley, PA, Abbi Telford (David) of Gilmore City, IA, Samuel Peterson of Waco, TX, Terrin Peterson of Pleasanton, TX, JacQuell Peterson of Eau Claire, WI, Kari Al-Thanon, Elise West (Joey Sundquist) of Gonvick, MN, Kiya West (Dustin Rhineberger) of Bagley, MN and Morgan West of Bagley, MN; his great grandchildren, Larry, Beau Telford, Roman, Holden Haveman, Kash Monroy, Kenneth, Kahlow, Adnan Al-Thanon, Wesley Sundquist, Lincoln, Beverly and Eleanor Rhineberger; and his siblings, Keith, Janet and Karen.
