He is survived by: his close friend Margie McCullom McCormick; his brothers, Paul Highberg and Harlan Highberg (Gayle); his brother-in-law Don Martella; and his nieces and nephews, Kristi Sorenson (Todd), Tanya Kriener (Arnold), Jessie Mendoza (Rich), Mindy Martella, Jarod Highberg (Tara Leonard), Adam Highberg (Krisha) and Justin Martella.
