He was predeceased by: his parents, Olvin Julius and Grace Sweet Moe; his sister Janice Clikeman; his nephew Paul Clikeman; and his niece Sheila Schuster.

He is survived by: his sibling Cal; his wife Sheila Marie Grant; and his children, David Moe (Lisa) of Sarasota, Jennifer Bateman (Bob) of Park Rapids and Gordon Moe (Charlette) of Moorhead.
