He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Eischens and Mabel Eischens (Olson); his siblings, Lawrence Eischens, George Eischens, Sylvester Eischens, Jerome Eischens, Kenny Eischens, Leroy Eischens, Barbara Hamblin, Leona Horkey, Lillian Holcomb and Marie Schroeder; and his in-laws, John and Adeline Waldorf.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Eischens of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Ron Eischens (Karla), Dave Eischens (Karen Weller), Rodney Eischens (Lisa), Dan Eischens (Shelby) and Kari Mathison (Mike); his sister Joanne Gitchel; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Eischens and Janet Eischens. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many other loved family members.

Bernard "Bernie" J. Eischens, 85, of Bagley, MN died on Friday, April 19, 2024, from complications of Parkinson's disease at his home surrounded by his loving family in Bagley, Minnesota under the care of hospice.
