Barbara Jean Swanberg Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Swanberg of Bagley, Minnesota, born in Ironwood, Michigan, who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Bloomquist and Saima Bloomquist (Johnson); her husband Harvey Swanberg; and her brother David Bloomquist. She is survived by: her children, Kirsten Benson (Rick) of Proctor, Minnesota, Daniel Swanberg (Joni) of El Paso, Texas, David Swanberg (Janet) of Kennewick, Washington, Karen Edevold of Bagley, Minnesota and Kathryn Brost (Tim) of Menomonie, Wisconsin; her siblings, Janis Currell and Jack Bloomquist (Luetta) of Syracuse; and her grandchildren, Kathryn, Denise, Nadia, Bryan, Eric, Jonathan, David, Matthew and Alexander. She is also survived by her family, especially her husband and children.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley (407 Getchell Ave NE, Bagley, MN 56621).
