He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Borchert and Esther Borchert (Gish); and his siblings, Floyd, Fred, Francis and Florence.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Borchert of Midland, TX, Colleen Berthold (Willy) of Backus, MN, Sandy Borchert (Darell) of Fort Ripley, MN and David Borchert (Janice) of Cold Spring, MN.; and his sister Margie Conway (Chuck) of Missoula, MT.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
