We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2023, at the age of 90, Lura Lauer (Backus, Minnesota), born in Chaseley, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Barchus and Mary Barchus; her parents-in-law, Frank and Ottilla Lauer; and her siblings, Helen Reeve, Lorrayne Reeve, Raymond, Anna Mae Rickart, Calvin, Alton, Lester and Doug.
She is survived by: her husband Lyle Lauer; her children, Diane Matthees (Dave), Kathy Lauer and Alan (Denise); her great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Michelle Matthees, Matthew, Desiree Matthees, Chad, Blaire Matthees (Clay), Brendan Lauer, Madeline Scamp, Trisha, Brent Bauer, Derek and Megan McChesney; her sister Ona Anderson; and her sister-in-law Linda Barchus. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
