It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Malek Jr. of Backus, Minnesota, who passed away on February 1, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irene (Billadeau) and Chester Malek, Sr.; his wife Luella Ellestad; his siblings, Rosemond "Rosie" Woodruff and Herbie Freeburg; his children, David Malek (Julie) and Dawn Nelson (Bill); his close friend Rita Miller; and his grandchildren, Cameron Malek and Ashley Nelson. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
