He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Halstead and Ella Halstead; his former wives, Loretta and Leanora; and his sisters, Beatrice Olson and Betty McConnell.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Halstead (Joe Einberger) of Woodbury, Leanne Van Emburg (Bill) of Lutz and Jim Halstead (Shelia) of Gibbon; his grandchildren, Scott Dickmeyer, Erin Dickmeyer, Larissa Halstead, Jordan Halstead and Jack Van Emburg; and his great grandchild Zach Dickmeyer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
