He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry H. Clemen and Edna A. Clemen; his siblings, Mary Catherine Helmrich, Dorothy Helmrich, Theresa Pape, Robert Clemen, Richard Clemen and Ken Clemen; and his son Raymond Clemen.
He is survived by: his former wives, Clara Avis and Gloria A. Nelson; his close friend Jody Klima; his wife Joanne White; his sons, Larry Clemen of Pine River and Clinton Clemen (Sandy) of Milford, IA; his grandchildren, Brian (Stephanie), Melanie, Brittany Clemen, Heather Wuebker (Jesse), Angela Olson (Harvey), Jody Gunderson (Tim) and Chad Wuebker; his great grandchildren, Jase, Gemma Clemen, Maverick Clemen, Savannah, Mara, Adan Wuebker, Mariah, Mason, Kadianes, Grady, Harvey Joe Olson, Lilli, Gracie, Jackson Gunderson, Gage Wuebker and Bruno; and his siblings, Bernadette Fessler of Earlville, IA, Jean Palmer (Roger) of Manchester, IA and Darlene Kafer of Manchester, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
