We bid farewell to Jack E. Erkkila of Babbitt, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 5, 2025 at the age of 69. In the sacred silence of farewell, Jack is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Erkkila and Dorothy Erkkila (Chiabotti); and his sister-in-law Delores Erkkila. He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy Dale (Gary) of Warroad, Monica Curtiss (Rob) of Babbitt and James Erkkila of Babbitt; and his nieces and nephews, Gerald Dale (Katie), Chad Dale (Janel), James Lesemann (Kristen), Pamela Lesemann and Emily Seliskar (Craig) of Ely.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (15 Ash Blvd, Babbitt, MN 55706). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
