Liljequist of Babbitt, Minnesota, born in Ironwood, Michigan, who passed away on January 24, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Liljequist and Irene Liljequist (Backlund); his wife Anita Kokko; and his siblings, Gertrude, Lloyd and Dean.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Liljequist of Ishpeming and Nancy Hamersma (Brian) of Grand Rapids, MI.; and his grandchildren, Lola Mckindles (Matthew), Kyle Liljequist, Cody and Holli Hamersma.
